Limitations of Physical Destruction and General Formatting

  • HDD Puncturing, Shredding, and Degaussing

    There is a risk of loss or unauthorized replacement after removing the hard disk.

  • Simple formatting cannot erase HPA or DCO areas

    Data may still be recoverable.

    It is impossible to verify whether formatting was performed,
    preventing traceability and management.
